What Are Sheepadoodle Temperments?
Sheepadoodles are adaptable, intelligent, affectionate, and playful, exhibiting the easygoing, good-natured temperament of their OES roots, while still providing all the energetic fun and clownish antics of their poodle parentage.
These dogs are known to be very playful. Their eagerness to play, socialize, with a love of children. They enjoy a bit of rough housing, making them a great family dog! These dogs are very affectionate, and love to be around and please their owners.

Do Mini Sheepadoodles Shed?
They are low-shedding and can often be hypoallergenic. Most Sheepadoodles have long, curly/wavy coats. Because their fur is wavy and long, this requires frequent brushing and grooming to ensure mats do not become a problem.
Grooming a Sheepadoodle also requires consistent upkeep. It is recommended to brush their fur at least a few times a week to prevent tangles and matting. Sheepadoodles should be bathed and trimmed every 2-3 months to maintain their coat's health and appearance.

Can Sheepadoodles Be Left Alone?
These sweet dogs love to be out and about with you. In fact, one of the only activities you shouldn't do with your Sheepadoodle is leave them home alone for a very long time. They can get lonely because these social dogs would rather be part of the action.
What About Potty Training?
Establishing a routine for potty training is crucial at this stage of your puppy's life. Take your puppy out to potty after eating, drinking, playing, and napping. A general rule of thumb is to take your puppy out every hour for every month of age (for example, if your puppy is two months old, take them out every two hours). Praise your puppy when they potty outside, and never punish them for accidents inside. Be patient and consistent with your training, and your puppy will catch on quickly.

Have There Been Vet Visits?
Your puppy will have already received their first round of vaccinations before you bring them home. The next set of vaccinations is usually due at 12 weeks and 16 weeks of age, so make sure to schedule an appointment with your veterinarian around that time. Additionally, your puppy will need regular check-ups, parasite prevention, dental care and spaying/neutering at appropriate age. Make sure to discuss your puppy's healthcare needs with your veterinarian.
Avoid places where your puppy or unvaccinated dog could be exposed to parvo virus from unvaccinated dogs. Dog parks, pet stores, play groups, and other public areas should be avoided until your dog or puppy is fully vaccinated.
